A Thought on Inclusion

What if there is a psychological condition that causes some people to feel ostracised, minimalised, and marginalized no matter how it is that they are actually treated? What if society is exactly as cruel and kind and exclusive and inclusive to those people as it is to everybody else? Should society rearrange itself to include those afflicted people more, to prove how included they are? Or would that only attempt to address the symptoms of a deeper affliction? And does seeking to address these symptoms actually strengthen the underlying issue?

Would it be better to work on more personal, individual levels to treat them, helping them understand and overcome why they can not feel included?

Assuming this malady exists, of course.

So, does this malady exist?

And if so, does it correlate highly with certain groups in society?
